DEBATE VIDEO: THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY ON PUBLIC POLICY  FORMULATION
INES Students in different Departments, Lecturers and local leaders, from selected cells, Sectors Musanze District and Police and Army organ met on 1st march 2016 for jointly overall debates on Public policy formulation and its implementation that have been engaging in debates coordinated by the Public Administrative and Good governance Department.

The debates is one of the main part of Academicians, researchers and scientific experts whom give their contribution by identifying the problematic (gaps) and starting thinking on way of determine the models that could assist the resolutions on the said problems and come up with packages of recommendations or back up plans that could support on resolving the said gaps.

 130 participants from University on different department, Academicians, researchers, different Experts and Local Leaders from 2 Cells, 2 Sectors, District level and representative of Army and Police attended the said debate conference.

The theme of the said debate conference was: “The Role of Community on Public Policy Formulation as an impact on their socio-economic development” which started with power point presentations that taken 45 min. then free audience discussion which also consumed more than one hours and 20 total the debate consumed 2hours.

As recommendations from those different participants,
1. A regularly Debate should take place every semester in different area
2. Jointly Students, academicians, researchers and analysts’ Local leaders should have a forum commission which should assist on the communities ‘problem.
3. This kind of discussions should be applied on different high learning Institutions which should  give the communities’ hope and trust
