The Cold War continues to be represented by different hostilities, with the conflict between North and South Korea indicating that there is one main area of the world that could destabilize international security. Though the scale of the conflict between these two can be characterized at a minor level when compared to the rivalry between the USA and the USSR, it is possible to identify key elements that characterize the Korean conflict as one based upon the image of the Cold War.
